Interface improved a lot. Photos that I was previously unable to send to InkCase can now be done.

But after installing this, Companion starts to crash randomly.

And also, "blue socket=null" problem is back.

There has been improvement in the software. Now need additional tools to better handle the black banding. What about BW filters that allow screening (like newspapers used to use) and better methods for the different levels that appear between the phone and the InkCase display? It would be great if the phone actually looks the same as the InkCase!

Right! This has been one of the key area that we would like to improve -- optimizing the grayscale display! But we will only be able to look into it towards middle of the year due to the very tight resources. Q2 will be a better recruitment season for us :)

We have previously come across this App - MonoPix (https://itunes.apple.com/sg/app/monopix ... 52267?mt=8) which has a much better algorithm to convert a color image to grayscale. We have invited the developer to add support for InkCase but apparently our current user base do not sound attractive to them.

Anyway, if you guys do know any expert/developers or you yourself who might be able to help us improve on this, do let us know ok? Thanks :)

Why not ask the developer of your Photo app to look into dithering support? That developer could look here as a starting point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd%E2%80%93Steinberg_dithering
